Twilight Sparkle - Pony/Human

I'm officially a brony (welcome to the herd). But really, it's the best show I've seen in recent times. This show really encourage me to learn things about friendship. It made me realize how little I know about friendship. I've learned that I really have to go out and experience it and I can just sit still and come up with "theories" and "hypotheses" on how friendship works. I've tried coming up with things in a conversation all in my head, but when I really face that situation in person, things don't go EXACTLY according to plan. I'm forced to make tiny little decisions on the spot. Coming up with things to talk about, the timing, how to react. Lots of little tiny things happen at a time. You don't get to lounge in your thoughts for hours, so I can really only go with my gut (or heart, whichever you prefer) if I want to participate in a conversation. As I go along things would change. That's kind of the beauty of a real conversation, unpredictability. Can you believe how much I've learned from just a children's show? It's just amazing. But instead of thinking about it in my head and just typing it down like I'm doing right now, I gotta go out for the experience it more.

Twilight Sparkle is my favorite character in the show (Though I have a bit of every pony in me). After seeing the first episode, I knew she was going to be special. She's really the one I relate to the most. We don't have much friends, don't go to parties or other get-togethers. Instead, we spend all our time cooped up in our rooms in our own little world. Her in a world of books, me in the world of the internet. We only have the people we live with to talk to. Her with Spike and Celestia and me with my family. Though she's still a well brought up girl who tries to be polite and has no ill will against people. One difference between me and her though, is that I haven't realized how wonderful friendship can be. I mean I know it can, but it's different to just know it in your head than to realize it. It's something I gotta go out and realize it for myself.

ANYWAY, about this drawing...

I've always wanted to see Twilight Sparkle in human form. I've seen lots of good ones here, but I wanted to see one that's faithful to the show's style. I kept everything simple and do what I can to keep her a youthful teenager. She has a purple wool vest, a white shirt under, jeans, and simple purple sneakers. The shoes are pretty big, but the exaggeration makes it more striking. She was gonna have a tie, but it was removed for simplicity.

The expression are kind of there for fun and LOLs (You can tell that I love "Lesson Zero". Twilight makes the best faces). But having 10 different expressions, BOTH human and pony, it was going to be time consuming. There's a LOT more facial expressions that I like, but these will just have to do for now. This took a a few days to finish. Fine tuning and making sure everything is solid. Oh, the logo was a last minute thing. I needed to fill up that empty space. And I didn't want it so plain so I spruced it up with a few stars, use the colors of her coat and mane and presto- Not only made a logo that looks nice but also made something that really matches Twilight (That's kind of a quality I have in common with Rarity).
